How does it work?

Exilis uses radiofrequency to heat the skin to the temperature, which has been clinically proven to stimulate new collagen formation. This newly stimulated collagen is seen clinically to tighten and improve the texture of the skin.

Am I a good candidate?

Most patients would benefit from Exilis, as long as there is no pacemaker or metal near the treated area. Tooth fillings are ok. The ideal candidate for this treatment, however, is patients whose treatment goals do not require surgery. As a general rule, when a patient uses their hands to pull the skin back to demonstrate a desired result, then surgery is usually required.

Exilis is not recommended for patients who are pregnant or nursing.

What to Expect

Before

It is recommended that patients incorporate over-the-counter collagen peptides into their daily routines. Patients should arrive at their appointments well hydrated with clean, dry skin. No lotions, skincare products, or sunscreen on the treatment area.

During

During the treatment, the patient will experience a warm sensation in the treated area as the skin is warmed to the goal temperature.

After

The treated area may be slightly pink for several minutes immediately after the treatment, but will return to normal after a few minutes. Normal activity may be resumed immediately.
