Medications and Supplements To Watch Out For with Injectables
Some over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and supplements can thin the blood or affect platelets and increase the risk of bruising with injections (such as filler, Botox, PRP, IVs, etc.). Do not stop any prescription medication on your own. Always check with your prescribing provider and tell Davis Dermatology about everything you take (including vitamins, teas, and “natural” products).

Numbing Cream Guidelines Before Treatment
To enhance comfort during your procedure, you may be advised to apply a topical numbing cream to specific areas before your visit. Please follow the guidelines below carefully, using a measured teaspoon and avoiding over-application to prevent lidocaine toxicity.
